We were traveling to Kenya and tried to get a tattoo here. Everything went much better than we thought. Eric is an incredible professional, he listens and has the patience to understand your needs and then makes art. The place is clean and safe. The needles were new. And the result was incredible. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. If we were to go back to Kenya we would go there again!

I’m absolutely obsessed with my new tattoo and couldn’t be happier with the experience of having it done by Eric! From the very beginning, Eric took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and made sure I was completely happy with the design and placement before starting. He also made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. What I appreciated most was the care and attention he showed after the appointment. He checked in with me to see how my tattoo was healing and to make sure everything was going well. That level of aftercare really shows how much he cares about his work and his clients. I’m so happy I chose Eric’s studio for this tattoo and I’ll always have a lovely connection to the experience of getting it. Thank you so much, Eric! I absolutely love my tattoo and would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for beautiful, detailed and thoughtfully crafted tattoo work. ❤️🐦‍🔥🙏🏽

Very professional and friendly staff. As a first timer, I was happy with the patience and quality service Rebel Inks provides. Eric did my first and only nose puercing aout 5 years ago. And, recently he did my forearm tattoo. Thank you Eric for being so awesome. After-sales service is amazing 😉😉😉😉

I had a double nose piercing (two on the same side) done by Eric last August, and my experience was exceptional! The studio was spotless, neat, and maintained very high standards of hygiene. What impressed me most was Eric’s professionalism and expert guidance. Unlike my previous experience elsewhere—where I was just asked where I wanted it and given a ring without any advice—Eric took the time to advise me on proper placement, aesthetics, and why using the right stud is critical for proper healing. His aftercare support was incredible too. When I developed a bump about a month later, I went back to him. He handled it right away and recommended switching studs, which completely cleared up the irritation. He even followed up regularly afterward to check on my healing progress. Bonus points for his awesome music playlist during the sessions! Highly recommend Eric if you want a clean, professional, and truly caring piercer.

Eric is amazing! His shading is incredible! Reached out to him 3 months before trip. He took my ideas and added his great African vibes and made each piece of art original and incredible! Flew from Oregon to Nairobi for 3 sessions. Eric was professional and courteous and his assistant was very helpful! Loved his attitude about art and tattoos, loved his ethics and morals as a tattoo artist and really enjoyed every minute I spent there! He even bought me lunch one day! Great artist, great experience, great tattoos and would highly recommend!

I had such an amazing experience with Erick. He is incredibly welcoming, professional, and genuinely makes you feel at ease from the moment you walk in. Since then he has been following up consistently throughout the healing process to make sure everything is going well. When looking for a tattoo artist, the most important things to me were attention to detail, patience, and hygiene. Eric absolutely delivered on all of that and honestly exceeded my expectations. From the start, he really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and never rushed the process. We went through multiple redesigns for the 4 tattoos I got, and he made sure every single detail was exactly how I envisioned it before starting. You can tell he genuinely cares about his work and about making his clients happy with the final result. I spent around 16 hours at his studio getting several services done, including laser removal on an old tattoo, and the entire experience was amazing from beginning to end. I never once felt uncomfortable or unsure about anything. The hygiene standards were also extremely reassuring. From constant glove changes to repeated sanitizing of surfaces and equipment, everything was handled very professionally. Huge shoutout as well to his videographer Mashaa, who helped a lot with content creation and made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable. I also got two ear piercings done, and everything from the placement to the jewelry selection was perfect. Even after the session, Eric stayed super responsive and helpful during the aftercare process, which I really appreciated. Overall, I genuinely can’t recommend him enough. If you want someone talented, patient, professional, and genuinely invested in giving you the best experience possible, Eric is definitely the artist to go to.

I couldn’t recommend Rebel Inks more! My husband and I were visiting from Seattle and Eric made the entire process of setting up an appointment and sharing my ideas from across the globe extremely smooth and stress free. The day of my appointment, Eric was extremely welcoming. He explained to me changes he’d made to my idea and his reasons why. I really appreciated the thought he had put into it. Everything was clean and professional. My husband also decided he would like to get something to mark our trip and Eric came in on his day off to tattoo him. Eric tattooed my wife while we were on holiday in Nairobi and did great work. He took the time to improve on the reference she’d provided and did such a good tattoo, I decided on the spot to try and get my own. We didn’t have much time but he graciously came in on his day off to tattoo me and now we both have a permanent inked memory we’re so proud of. Thank you!

I found Rebel Links on some search engine and I loved the reviews Before the piercing there was some pre-counselling on what to expect and this gave me confidence. The place is clean and equipment is clean too. All disposable tools used are new. The service was very professional. Post piercing care is consistent and gentleman is available for consultation incase of any challenges. My healing has been very smooth and I am now enjoying my new me. Just recently got my first tattoo here. Eric was very professional, taking the time to actualise my idea to life (we discussed designs for about 2 days). What I liked most is that he takes time to really understand what you're aiming for, so that you have no regrets. Couldn't recommend a more professional service especially if you're on the fence about getting one done. Secondly, he's got impressive craftsmanship because the tattoo came out exactly as I imagined, and he also takes the time to check up on you during the healing phase. Couldn't recommend a better artist! Cheers man! I'll be back for the second one🔥

Eric is not only an amazing tattoo artist but he is also just a great person! From the beginning of our communications before I was even in Kenya, to weeks after getting the tattoo, Eric was incredibly patient and attentive with me. This was the second tattoo I got and I wish I could have come to Eric for my first one! He gave me really great after-care directions for the tattoo as well as a little jar of his own Vaseline-type stuff to put over my tattoo while it was healing! He even put second skin over my tattoo so that I didn’t have to worry about it for the first few days. Now THAT’S good service. My first tattoo artist didn’t do none of that lol. After the session Eric didn’t rush me and my friend out, he chatted with us and even when he found out I was an artist too— really encouraged me to keep creating and to find a community of artists to support me. I almost cried because I’ve had such a hard time with my own art the past couple of years, it meant so much to me to have a fellow very talented artist say that to me. 🤍🤍🤍 Eric you’re amazing, don’t ever stop creating and just know you’ve impacted lives all over the world!🫶🏻 thanks so much for everything!!

I had the absolute best experience at Rebel Ink in Nairobi! I wanted a tattoo to commemorate the two months I spent volunteering in a local hospital, and Eric created the perfect piece an Africa outline with an elephant and lion. His skill and artistry are second to none. From the moment I walked in, Eric was professional, welcoming, and attentive. He made sure I was comfortable throughout, provided everything I needed, and explained every step of the process. The tattooing itself was unbelievably smooth - I genuinely felt no pain compared to my previous tattoos over the last 22 years. Eric also gave me excellent aftercare guidance and products, and thanks to that, my tattoo healed beautifully. The attention to detail, precision, and shading are absolutely stunning. This is hands-down the best tattoo I've ever had, and I will be flying back to Nairobi for any future ink. If you want incredible art, a professional experience, and a talented artist who truly cares about his clients, Rebel Ink is the place to go!

Eric and James were great! They managed to fit me and my husband into their schedule last minute and they made efforts to make sure we got our first ever unique tattoo designs to look the way we liked before starting the tattoo process. Eric did my tattoo (Jellyfish) and James did my husbands'(Elephant and Lion African content) with both taking 7-8 hours and came out very nicely. The tattoo shop was clean and we were made to feel comfortable. Eric ensured we had clear aftercare instructions. He also checked in on us in the weeks that followed to make sure we were healing well, and it was easy to get hold of him when either of us had questions.

I had my navel piercing done in April, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Eric was not only professional but also incredibly kind and patient. What stood out most was how he consistently followed up by texting to ask how the piercing was healing and making sure I was comfortable every step of the way. We ended up changing the jewelry three times to ensure I had the best fit and avoided any signs of rejection, and he always listened to my suggestions as a client, which I really appreciated. Now, three months in, my piercing is healing beautifully, with no sign of rejection. Highly recommend for anyone who values a piercer who cares about your comfort and healing journey!

Went here for a simple "hakuna matata" tattoo and after the consultation with Eric, dramatically changed/enhanced the idea to include a lion and put it in a completely different location. Went back on Saturday and we did the tattoo and it took around 8 hours, after 2 hours of getting the stencil right, and the placement perfect. Eric also did a belly button piercing for a friend, guiding her through the process, doing the piercing and then explaining the after care to her. The shop is on the 3rd floor, with the entrance to the stairs near an alleyway on the left. The shop is perfect size, clean, and attractive looking. The mural is pretty dope.

Being my first tattoo, I was very sceptical about where I'll get my tattoo. I did look for some other places but the vibe was just not there. Then a friend of mine suggested to check out rebel ink since it's next to where I work and I did and am so glad i found this place. Eric is so kind and very good at his job. Not only did my tattoo look like it came directly from pinterest, there was minimal pain, the hygiene is on another level and the after care service just out of this world. Thank you so much rebel in for my first and it sure won't be my last 🥰

I had an excellent experience I got piercibgs there and the process was really good. My biggest concern was hygiene but that wasn't an issue at all, they use new needles and they sanitize them. The service itself was also welcoming. I was informes of everything i needed to know beforehand. 10/10 would recommend!

As a tourist it's always a little daunting getting a tattoo in a different country but from the moment I messaged Eric I felt more comfortable. He listened to what I actually wanted and made sure he could fit in the time before I flew back home. The shop is clean & private and is easy enough to find. Eric has even checked in a couple of times since to make sure all is good. I would totally recommend Eric! I absolutely love my Elephants!

This was a last minute decision to get a tatoo, Eric was very understanding and professional with his help I was able to choose and adjust my tatoo...I had a previous scar that I wanted to cover and yet put a sentimental tatoo in memory of someone dear. I had never had tattoos before so I was about afraid but the professionalism is very high so I relaxed and let them do my tatoo... I had a very easy healing period and always follow up from Eric to check on my progress...I would highly recommend if you are a first timer because from my experience all went very well and attention to detail Thank you for a good job and looking forward to send all my friends your way And all the best with the new year 2025!

I went to Rebel Inks unsure and scared of getting my second lobe piercings but it's one of the best decisions I've made this year. The whole process was smooth, painless and the results so far are 100% satisfying because one, Eric was incredibly professional. He took the time to explain the whole process, answered every question that I had and listened to my preferences. He was patient and ensured that I was comfortable throughout. Two, all the equipments he used for the piercings were new and/or sterilised. Three, the parlour itself was very clean and was up to par with the hygiene standards. Four, Eric provided effective aftercare instructions, making sure I knew exactly how to take care of my new piercings and he kept in touch and continues to do so, to check on the healing progress. I cannot say enough about Eric and the experience he gave me. First of all, he fit me in when I was running short on time and helped me to find his shop. I just wanted a meaningful word tattooed and promised it would be small and quick. When I didn't love the fonts we came across, he free-handed a stunning font. He made sure the placement was perfect and checked in with me and we decided to just leave it as the outline without filling it all in and even with the change of plans the line work was perfection. Eric also charged me half of what I was quoted several other places even after he drew the design himself on the spot. It was the best overall experience I've had in a tattoo shop. I cannot speak highly enough of Eric's care for clients, artistic skill, or fairness in operating his business.

Me and my 3 friends all got ear piercings. Two of us got the conch, one got the upper cartilage, the other got her second holes. He was very professional, clean, accurate, and caring. All 4 of our piercings have healed great and he has been so kind to reach out and care about the aftercare of our piercings. If I lived in Nairobi, I would get all my piercings here! 100% would recommend him to anyone. The titanium jewelry is great quality as well.

My experience at Rebel Inks was exceptional. It was my first time getting a piercing, and I was understandably nervous. However, Eric, the piercer, was reassuring and professional. He explained the earlobe piercing process in detail and answered all of my questions before beginning. I was particularly impressed with Eric's attention to hygiene. He thoroughly cleaned the room before I entered, sanitized all of the equipment he would be using, and changed gloves between each ear. This level of cleanliness gave me great confidence in his professionalism. Eric's commitment to customer service did not end on the day of the piercing. He followed up with me regularly throughout the healing process to ensure that I was following the aftercare instructions and that my earlobes were healing properly. I highly recommend Rebel Inks to anyone in Nairobi who is considering getting a piercing. Eric is a highly skilled and experienced piercer who takes great pride in his work.

I got my belly button piercing from Eric. I have had 2 piercings done before and I've never received service as good as his. He explained the piercing and after care processes in detail and was very patient with my many questions...I'm considering paying him school fees 😂. His hygiene standards are very high and he used a disposable sterilized needle. He followed up on my healing progress weekly...I felt like we were healing together 😅. I wish it was possible to give 10 stars. I'm definitely having my future piercings done with him and I'm recommending him to all my friends 😃

Got my upper ear piercing done and my experience was fabulous. I highly appreciate the professionalism shown by Eric. He made sure I was made aware of the process before he started the work. He also explained me the healing process and the complications which was actually great to know as most places do not care to talk about the work in so much detail. The place is neat and clean and the equipments he used were also fine standards. Really appreciate his following up with me on the healing 🤗

I first went through their website to engage more on their services. I was particularly interested in the nose ring service. The communication from the day I made an appointment was very professional as well as the services offered. Eric explained in great detail the step by step procedure and was very patient with our questions. He administered effective hygiene and even let my friend record a video of the procedure. The after care followup is also great as Eric keeps checking up on the healing process on a weekly basis as well as giving additional guidance on the after care. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES to everyone. Actually what you see on their website is EXACTLY what you will get. Keep up the good work Rebel inks Tattoos.

I have been looking for the perfect place to get my tattoo removed. After inquiring and also being referred to Eric. I started my removal process last year and now my tattoo is almost fully gone. I would like to thank Eric and the whole Rebel Inks Empire Team for their diligence and consistency in ensuring my needs were met. Definitely the best in laser removal services in Nairobi, Kenya.💯

I went to Eric for the first time to get help with an earring infection I couldn’t get rid of for months. I quickly got an appointment. He took time to listen to my concerns and previous treatments. He then recommended we try a different approach, changing the piercing and treating it as it was fresh. He gave great advise on how to clean and which care products to use. Throughout the whole session he was very friendly, considerate and knowledgeable. The weeks after he was checking in on how the piercing was doing. The infection is now gone. I would definitely recommend!

I got my ears pierced and the whole procedure was more than great. The space was very clean and time was taken to chose the right spot. He took his time to clean up after and we had a nice talk, too with many helpful information on cleaning and sanitizing the new Piercings. Even after we were done there was a weekly follow up on our healing process. Can recommend this place totally and would go back there anytime! Thanks!

I was so pleased with the service I got. I received a septum piercing from Eric and based on my experience with him, I wouldn't trust anyone else with any other piercings that I might get. He's very sanitary and walks you through the entire process making you feel comfortable and at ease. He also follows up on his clients concerning after care and is very easy to talk to. I would definitely refer anyone looking for to get a piercing, tattoo or tattoo removal here!
